Financing may seem very attractive when you have to buy a car, but wait before you think of financing your car. Just look at the problems that you may have to face later on. Financing always makes you spend more money on your car than what you should actually spend. You have to pay interest if you finance your car. It is always a wiser decision to buy the car for cash. Everyone desires to have new cars but we have to look at our budget before we think of buying a car. It is better to buy cars that are pre-owned rather than investing in the new ones and pay interest for rest of your life. If you look at the amount that goes as interest you will be surprised to know that the amount can help you buy damaged cars that will require very less repairing or overhauling amount to make it as good as the new car. You should always think smart if you are planning to buy cars. The best that you can look for is the pre-owned cars and that also buy them for cash. Cars for cash are the best decision that one can take. It will not only spare you from paying interest on the financed amount but will also help you save on a good amount that you can utilise on other things.

Generally people have a misconception that they are judged for the car that they have and pre-owned cars can let their image suffer. The reality lies in the fact that it is better that you save on the resources rather than exploiting them. If you buy damaged cars and make them look just like the new ones then it is you who has taken a smart call. So if you are planning to buy cars then buy cars for cash and save on your resources. You can look online for car dealers in Sydney and Melbourne. You can easily get cheap cars for cash in Sydney. There are so many outlets that deal in pre-owned cars and damaged cars that are made to undergo the process of repairing and then assuring the quality and condition of the car. You can easily buy cars for cash and be happy for rest of your life and rid from any interest payments.

These are just simple guidelines that you can follow while you are planning to buy car. The wiser decision that you can take is buying used car rather than going for new one.

Driving in Singapore is so convenient and can save you a lot of time. This article discusses some ideas for acquiring a car in Singapore.

3 years or less : Don’t even think about buying a car. Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums have already increased across the board.

Above 3 years : It will most definitely be better to buy or lease a car.

You can rent a car in Singapore if:

You are a holder of a valid Singapore Class 3 or approved foreign license.
Some vehicle hire companies require the driver to be over the age of 24 and has a minimum driving experience of 2 years. Other companies have lower minimum age or experience requirements, such as age 18 or 21, and may require a large surcharge, and reduced insurance.

Air conditioning (it is safe to assume that all reputable rental companies will have airconditioning fitted in Singapore).
Manual or Auto. Most of the cheaper and older cars come with Manual transmission.
What insurance included in the price?
Is the Goods and Services Tax (GST) included in the price?
Can the car be driven across the border to Malaysia? Most major car rental companies allow their cars to be driven in Malaysia. A surcharge will require.
Is there a mileage limitation? Cars rented for driving in Singapore commonly have unlimited mileage. Cars rented for driving into Malaysia rarely do.
Is 24-hour Roadside assistance offered?
Safety features
Fuel economy
Maps or GPS navigation system. You may need to pay a small amount of fee to rent a GPS navigation system.
Pick up and drop off points. Some rental companies offer these service island-wide in Singapore free of charge.
Is cash card provided? You need one to pay for the toll fee (ERP gantry) in Singapore. Most rental companies offer cash card for sale.

Understand the full insurance cost. Often travel insurance can work out cheaper than paying the excess reduction insurance at the time of rental. If you already have travel insurance, make sure you don’t pay for extra insurance that your travel insurance already offers.

Pickup or returning cars to airport or other locations often incurs an additional charge. Look for rental companies that provide these service free of charge.

Singapore car rental

Many of these tips are true regardless of where you are looking to buy a car, but there are a concern specific to cars in Singapore that you should be aware of.

The Certificate of Entitlement (COE), instituted by the government of Singapore, is a program designed to limit car ownership, and hence, the number of vehicles on the country’s roads. An restriction on car ownership is the requirement that motor vehicles more than ten years old, known as ‘time expired’ vehicles, must either be scrapped, or exported from Singapore, usually to neighbouring countries. So don’t buy a car with only a few years left on it’s COE!

Don’t buy a car you have not test driven yourself for at least around the block. If you are too scared to drive it, ask the seller to take you on a short ride and tell him what you would like him to do: brake sharp, accelerate fast, etc.
Don’t buy a car (from a private person) if you do not have at least some basic knowledge of cars and know what to look for.
Don’t buy a car from a dealer unless he has a good reputation (ask him for feedback from his customers and check the Internet).
Don’t buy a car that is leaking any fluid (black=engine oil/brake fluid, brown=engine oil/brake fluid, red=gearbox, green=radiator or other.), has an oily looking engine head or rust on important parts of the chassis such as the door areas, or near the suspensions.
Don’t buy a car that has problems with the gearbox (automatic or manual) – this type of repair can be very expensive. Don’t buy the argument that you will have to use overdrive or use neutral position when parking.
Don’t buy a car that doesn’t stop (SHARP!) when you want it to stop. Check all the car lights with the help of a friend.
Send the car for inspection.

Who in their right mind would not like to buy a good used car for a very low price? Not many of us, that’s for sure. Most people love getting good deals and there are few products that many seem more obsessed about getting good deals on than cars.

While it’s possible to get a good deal on a new car, it is in the arena of pre-owned or used cars where it is possible to get some really good deals on cheap cars. And there are several ways to buy a cheap used car.

One can look through the local newspaper in order to find cheap cars for sale within the area where you live. While the selection of cheap used cars for sale listed in local newspapers is often very limited, great deals can sometimes be found, especially if you find a seller who is either lazy or does not know the value of the car they are selling.

A second way of buying a cheap car is through a used car dealership. Often used car dealerships have limited selection in the way of cars you can buy from them. Also, used car dealerships may sell the cars they have for sale at higher prices than what you could find if you buy a car from a private seller who advertises in the newspaper. However, many used car lots and used car dealerships do thoroughly examine the cars they sell. Now here is an opportunity for you to buy good condition cars at extremely low prices. and get great deals on Cars for Sale / Cheap Cars for Sale.

There is an obvious price gap between the cost of a new car and a used car of the same make and model. With such a big difference, some people choose to buy nearly new but second hand cars. While these are undoubtedly cheaper, there are numerous advantages to buying new cars instead.

1 – Less Maintenance

The biggest benefit of buying new cars is that they are previously unused by other drivers. This means that there is far less chance that your car will require maintenance or repairs at least in the first year or of owning it. Abide by the manufacturer’s guidelines with regards to oil and petrol, and to servicing you shouldn’t face any costly repair bills. What’s more, you don’t have to pay for an MOT as you do with older cars and this can offer another good saving.

2 – Extensive Warranty Coverage

Second hand cars sometimes include a warranty or guarantee from the retailer and you, at least, have the peace of mind that the car you buy should be as it was advertised. However, with new cars you receive extensive warranty coverage from the manufacturer so if something does go wrong you can have it repaired or even replaced in extreme cases and without it costing you.

3 – Improved Rates

If you’re looking to buy new cars but don’t want to part with the initial outlay then you can enjoy improved rates when compared to car loans for second hand cars. With many manufacturers and retailers competing for your business you can shop around to find the very best deal that can provide you with a new car without having to pay too excessive an amount in loan rates.

4 – Greater Choice

Buying new cars is effectively like buying off plan. You can choose the colour, add any trimmings and optional extras that you want, and you might even receive free breakdown cover to boot. When you buy used cars you are basically buying into somebody else’s idea of the perfect car. It’s unlikely that you’ll be able to find exactly the model and colour of car that you want with the right trimmings and extras.

Resource Box ; 1

ArnoldClark.com offers an extensive range of <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link/4725843']);” href=”http://www.arnoldclark.com/new-cars/”> new cars </a> from a large selection of manufacturers to that you can get the car you want easily and quickly.

=======================

Title : 2
The Benefits Of Buying Used Cars

Summary :

Owning a car is no longer considered a luxury, but is a necessity to most of us but especially those of us with children and full time jobs to hold down.

Article Body :

Owning a car is no longer considered a luxury, but is a necessity to most of us but especially those of us with children and full time jobs to hold down. With this said, though, it’s no secret that the cost of buying and running a car is getting higher and higher. Prices at the pump continue to rise and while the economic status of the country may be improving we’re not completely out of the woods yet. Therefore, saving several thousands pounds by buying used cars can prove very beneficial indeed.

Price

New cars cost a considerable amount of money, even for the more basic models with few or no added extras. In contrast, if you buy a car that is even a year old but the same model you can get it for a fraction of the price you would have had to pay for the equivalent brand new model.

Depreciation

This brings us neatly to another advantage of buying nearly new or used cars. New cars depreciate massively as soon as you buy them and they continue to haemorrhage value for a few years. As soon as you drive the car away from the showroom it has lost a sizeable chunk of its value and you won’t ever get that back. When you come to replace the car you will notice the difference then. Used cars do endure some depreciation but, by no means, the same level.

More For Your Money

Rather than buying a new basic model, you can upgrade the size, the trimmings, and the spec of the model you buy just by looking for a car that’s 12 months old. These will typically still be in warranty as well and will not yet require an MOT. You won’t lose as much value from your higher end model either.

Buying Used Cars

Buying used cars means finding the right make and model and then ensuring that you get the best value for money. Shopping around will help you get everything right but by using cars you can enjoy the benefit of reduced price tags and reduced depreciation levels while getting more for your money.

The latest edition of our monthly maintenance “how to” series, is going to teach us how to check the hydraulic fluid in a vehicle with a stick shift, or in other words, a manual transmission. Cars that have a manual transmission use either a cable, which connects the transmission and the clutch, or a hydraulic system, for which you need a fluid to help keep it running efficiently, and smoothly.

For the purpose of this article, we will assume that you have determined that your vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic clutch system. You can easily find out which type of automatic transmission that you have in your car, by reading your owner/operator manual, or by researching your vehicle make and model online. A browser search using the name and year of your car will return results pertaining to any question about your type of car that you want to ask.

The steps listed below will guide you through the process.

There really is no actual “clutch fluid”, so what you are going to use will be stated in your manual. Likely, it will be either some type of automatic transmission fluid, or perhaps even a brake fluid, or motor oil, which is also designed for use in manual transmissions.

1. Park the car on level ground, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool down.
2. If the clutch pedal went directly into the engine compartment, this is where you would find the clutch master cylinder and clutch reservoir. At the back of the engine.
3. You should be able to see a plastic container; it is only about an inch big. It looks similar to the brake fluid reservoir, only quite a bit smaller.
4. The hydraulic fluid reservoir is usually made of clear plastic, so you should be able to check the fluid level without even having to open it up.
5. If the fluid level does not reach the top of the reservoir, then you should add hydraulic fluid.
6. If your clutch pedal is not working properly even after you add fluid, or the fluid level continues to drop, then there is probably a leak somewhere in the hydraulic line, or in the reservoir itself, or at the connection between the pedal and the hydraulic line.

In some vehicles, there is actually no place in the engine compartment where you can easily check the hydraulic fluid level. The only way a check can be accomplished is from underneath the car. If you’re not comfortable yet with your newly learned acquired maintenance skills, and your vehicle is not exhibiting any shifting symptoms, don’t worry. Just have the hydraulic fluid level checked at your next oil change.
However, if you want to give it a try, here are the steps to do it.

1. Get under the vehicle, and locate the fill plug, it should be underneath where the clutch pedal is.
2. Remove the plug and stick your finger in, (it won’t leak out on you because the reservoir is tilted), if you cannot feel any fluid with your fingertip, add some.

Do not try to check your hydraulic fluid level, without consulting your manual first.

If you’re a city dweller looking to buy a new car what you want is something small a nimble that can get you out of tight spot and where you don’t need much room to park it.

Popular choices are the Fiat 500 and the Audi A1. The reason people choose the Fiat 500 is generally for its quirky looks which have had celebrities buy it in bucket loads. If you get the TwinAir model it only emits just 94g/km of CO2 which means no road tax and the London Congestion Charge exemption. The Fiat 500 is also one of the safest superminis on the market with front, side, curtain and knee airbags. There are also a number of special edition Fiat 500s available for those who are looking for a more unique car.

While the Fiat 500 costs around £10,000, the Audi A1 will set you back at least £13,420. But many will say the extra money is worth it as you get a superb car which will also prove a great ride on longer journeys. Fuel economy is good and because it’s a reliable car it won’t cost the earth to service. The A1 is also an award winner, picking up the much sought after What Car? Car of the Year award 2011 at the What Car? Awards in January and the Reader Award in the 2010 awards.

Other small cars to look at are the Ford Ka and the Nissan Note. According to experts the Ford Ka is more fun to drive than the Fiat 500 although it doesn’t have the same chic-factor. Starting price is just £8,545 though and for a test drive of the new Ford KA, Gravesend in Kent is one place to visit.

The Nissan Note is more spacious than the other cars mentioned here as it’s practically a small MPV. For people who need a city car with the option to transport goods, animals or a buggy, this is probably a good option. The one drawback however, is poor resale value.

Compact city cars have become more popular as economy becomes a much more important factor when choosing a car; all in all there’s plenty of choice out there if you’re looking for a car for city driving. There are options for those who are concerned about how a car looks, about luggage space or about fuel economy. The choice is endless and these are just a number of the cars available to buy today.

Before even scheduling to venture into the business, you have the choice to start small and sell a few cars or choose to go bigger as a used car dealer and maybe a used car wholesaler. To start with, a visit to the licensing bureau is recommended.

To be doing well in this line of work, you have to know the ins and outs of the business. First you must develop a knowing eye that can effectively look for the negative sides of a used car. Important things to consider are the paintwork, to even the frame damage of a car, which may be due to an accident. Any dealer would tell you that they have acquired their proficiency of the trade by way of experience such as inspecting cars by crawling inside, or under the car, over the car, and then driving it and devising schemes to determine the value of a used car.

The used car business is very tricky. It eats-up a lot of your time just learning the language of the trade. There is a whole bunch of related aspects, like how to select a quality and mechanically sound vehicle if the wholesale price is acceptable. You must then reconsider, given an expected margin of profit, would it be wise to buy the car now and sell it later. How much will be spent reconditioning the car to command a really satisfying price? All these relevant questions could be given meaning, only if you are involved in the used car business.

For a lot of people they do not have the time to go into learning the tricks, the trades, and the language that all come with owning a used car dealership . We would highly recommend that if your not 100% serious in putting in your time, than you are better off just quickly unloading your car for some easy and quick cash. Why go through all that paper work, learning the tricks, figure out what or where the deals are. People quickly find themselves well over their heads, and 9 out 10 times getting completely taken from in the used car business.

The process of reconditioning the cars start at repair bays. The used car dealer will have to deal with labor, equipment, car parts, car ovens and repainting, mechanical repairs to make the vehicles in tip-top condition before they get displayed in showrooms. You also have to deal with financing companies to arrange for easy purchase deals with buyers. There is also the case of trade-ins, or buyers needing your reconditioned cars in exchange for their old ones. Having picky buyers will also be an added aspect you must deal with. So before you decide to make it big in the used car industry, reconsider all of the little things that make’s this a business hard to run.
